Melbourne's Jam Factory redevelopment begins construction.

Construction is underway on the $2.75 billion redevelopment of the Jam Factory precinct in Melbourne.

The precinct, a favourite cinema and former brewery, is set to undergo redevelopment once more, featuring 600 residences spread across five towers, 10,000 square metres of commercial office space, 20,000 square metres dedicated to retail and hospitality, a state-of-the-art cinema complex, a 5-star hotel, and a second boutique hotel. Additionally, a 2,500-square-metre north-facing public piazza, named Village Square, will be created.

The Gurner Group has partnered with renowned international architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), alongside local architects Buchan, to design the precinct. This collaboration also includes Flood Studio to visualise the entire project through both stills and film to bring the precinct and brand to life.
