Trinity Point’s $665 million masterplan approved in Lake Macquarie

$665m Trinity Point expansion approved, set to transform Lake Macquarie waterfront

Development approval has been granted for the $665 million expansion of Trinity Point, marking a major milestone for what will become one of Australia’s largest waterfront projects.

The 23-hectare masterplanned community on Lake Macquarie, led by Johnson Property Group, promises to bring a new scale of coastal living to the region. Sustainability, landscape-led design, and placemaking sit at the core of the vision.

Designed by Koichi Takada Architects with landscaping by Arcadia, the development will feature a 153-room luxury hotel, 160 waterfront apartments, and a curated mix of retail, dining, wellness, and conference facilities.

Highlights include two 300-seat signature restaurants, a spa and wellness centre, a 300-seat function room, and a collection of pools, bars, and landscaped public spaces—all designed to elevate the site into a landmark destination for both residents and visitors.

The approval cements Trinity Point’s place as a transformative project for Lake Macquarie, positioning it as a premier waterfront precinct on Australia’s east coast.

Flood Studio has been proud to partner with Johnson Property Group in the development of stills and films for this ground-breaking development.
